Types of Leaking Shower Floor Repair

Cosmetic Shower Repair or Regrouting Service

It’s always the best option to address shower floor issues with regular maintenance. Waiting for the problem to escape the bathroom and cause larger issues such as mould and structural damage creates the need for expensive repairs that could have been avoided with regular maintenance. If you’re starting to notice grout cracking or your shower looking generally tired, then it is worthwhile to get a professional involved.

How Do You Know If You Need Leaking Shower Floor Repair?

Leaks of all sizes become increasingly common the older your shower gets. A leak can originate from tiny movement in the tiles which then causes the grout to crack and come apart. A more obvious sign that your shower could be leaking, and in need of a shower floor leak repair, is that the tiles are cracked or loose. Leaving this problem unattended for an extended period can cause the waterproof membrane under your shower to fail.

Sometimes a shower leak isn’t as obvious as a cracked tile or missing grout, which is exactly where we come in. At The Shower Dr, our trained team use state-of-the-art leak detection equipment to quickly and effectively identify any issues so we can fix it properly the first time around. Don’t leave your leaking shower floor repair to anyone but the best – contact The Shower Dr today.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The Shower Doctor Team did a fabulous job of an ensuite shower refresh for me - replaced floor and wall tile grout with epoxy and polymer grout. Also replaced silicon sealant. They were very thorough including removing and reinstalling the frameless glass shower wall and door to allow a deep clean. Joe who did the bulk of the work was not only a professional but a perfectionist, did a stellar job and the end result was beautiful. Joe was very generous with his time, his expertise and sharing knowledge on maintainence going forward. He knew his stuff and left the place spotless. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joe and the Shower Doctor Team.
